Indicados ao Critics’ Choice Awards começam a definir a lista dos prováveis presentes no Oscar 2018

A corrida do Oscar começou definitivamente, e está com bastante pontos na frente para o novo longa de Guillermo del Toro, se formos levar o Critics’ Choice Awards em conta. O  prêmio da Associação de Críticos de Cinema Americana colocou A Forma da Água com nada menos que 14 indicações neste ano e definitivamente pôs o filme na corrida do maior prêmio do cinema.

Superando com vantagem todos os outros indicados, A Forma da Água também consagrou entre suas indicações o trabalho da atriz Sally Hawkins, apenas três dias depois de ela conquistar o prêmio da crítica de Los Angeles. O filme também teve indicações nas categorias técnicas e no restante de seu elenco.

Em segundo lugar, com “apenas” oito indicações cada estão Me Chame Pelo Seu Nome, de Luca Guadagino; Lady Bird: A Hora de Voar, de Greta Gerwig (eleito o melhor filme do ano pelo prêmio da crítica de Nova York); The Post: A Guerra Secreta, de Steven Spielberg; e Dunkirk, de Christopher Nolan (o único que já estreou no Brasil).

Nas categorias de atuação, o prêmio de melhor atriz traz as já prováveis candidatas ao Oscar, que vêm sendo indicadas na maioria dos prêmios: Jessica Chastain, Meryl Streep, Sally Hawkins, Frances McDormand, Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan; assim como na de melhor ator: Timothée Chalamet, James Franco, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hanks, Daniel Kaluuya, Daniel Day-Lewis, Gary Oldman.

Desde 2007, o Critics’ Choice Awards previu corretamente o vencedor do Oscar de melhor filme sete vezes. O número sobe para oito no caso de melhor ator e cai para cinco na categoria de melhor atriz.

Nos prêmios de TV, a campeã de indicações é Feud: Bette and Joan, com seis indicações ao todo.

O 23º Critic’s Choicce Awards será entregue dia 11 de janeiro.
